Dr. Shannon

Dr. Shannon Scruggs – Allen BCDNM became interested in Naturopathic Health Care when she had health issues that the general medical establishment was not solving. She embarked on a quest to change her diet, use herbology and other natural means to cure these issues and was successful. Out of this bloomed a desire to help others. Especially women whom she feels are underserved by the medical field.

She began seeking formal education and in 2015 began attending Reiki training at Beaumont Hospital culminating in a Reiki Master Certification.

From there she attended training thru Kingdom Collage and ultimately began classes at the Naturopathic Institute of Education (NITE) in July of 2018. She graduated with a first level degree of Natural Health Educator in November 2019.

She is attended NITE and then Trinity College and also passed her board-certs to become a nationally certified Naturopathic Dr.

In September 2017 she started practicing Reiki as a business in Port Austin, Michigan and as of Dec. 2019 started the process of moving her business to open a full-service Naturopathic Office in Cass City, Michigan.
